Hey Scout,
I see you there, and you’re working hard. You’re getting the inkling that your business could do with a little more...something. A little more you-ness.
Getting yourself in front of the camera feels like a big deal and you’re pretty convinced you’re going to feel awkward, right?
I’ve worked hard to give you a space where you can feel safe and comfortable in your own skin and most of all, to have fun.
The greatest feedback I get from my clients is “I feel so ‘me’ in my photos” and that’s my mission — to help you feel safer to lean into your uniqueness.
Sophie - Head Scout
I’m Sophie (she/her), a branding and headshot photographer and small biz cheerleader living in Melbourne's north. With many years in journalism and eight years of photography under my belt, I have a deep interest in people, their stories and how to share them with the world.
Sister Scout was born four years ago when I realised that I wanted to spend my time serving and connecting with inspiring small businesses. Since then? I have had the BEST time working with people who are having a real impact on the world.
I might be a photographer, but I’m about more than photography.
I want to grow a family of courageous Scouts, help them flourish, lean in to their uniqueness, invest in themselves and impact their communities.
I want to provide a safe space for Scouts as they rediscover their true worth and love themselves again.
I want to see a world where Scouts are given the space to be themselves, where they feel confident to make a difference in their own unique way.
"To be honest we were dreading our photo shoot. I always forget how to ‘face’ as soon as someone is trying to take a picture. But Sophie’s relaxed, down to earth and adaptable approach, even as we changed locations with four young kids made it easy. The photos are lovely and she supported us to capture the different contexts, settings and moods we were after."
